The larger end of Waist is the measurement when the shirring is stretched(The smaller end is laid flat measurement of the Skirt without stretching the shirring). However, it's not recommended to stretch the shirring much in case of tight fitting/not fitting(For your reference only).

The larger end of Bust is the max when the back shirring is stretched(The smaller end is laid flat measurements of the Blouse without stretching the back shirring). However, it's not recommended to stretch the back shirring or do not stretch more than 1-2cm in case of tight fitting(For your reference only).

The larger end of Bust and Waist are the measurements when the lacing up on the back is relaxed(The smaller end are the measurements when the lacing up on the back is tightened to the smallest).
